Dental Volunteers for Israel sincerely thanks The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation for its generous 2-year operating grant. The Weinberg Foundation has been an important supporter and friend of DVI for more than 15 years. This latest generous grant has allowed us to increase the working hours at the clinic by 25% bringing it up to a full 5-day working week, as well as renting an additional apartment for the volunteer dentists. With these advances put in place since the beginning of 2008, the clinic is able to fill the dental chairs with more patients, reaching and helping more of the 200,000 children living under the poverty line in Jerusalem. DVI is grateful to the Weinberg Foundation for its long-term support without which these advances would not have been possible.
